I don’t just proofread a document: I interrogate it.
I am a highly motivated proofreader with a keen eye for detail, unwavering focus and the inability to take anything for granted. I don’t just proofread a document: I interrogate it.
My approach to work is simple. Whatever I proofread, no matter how professionally produced, must contain at least one error. I find great satisfaction in contributing to the safeguarding of corporate, professional and personal reputations one word at a time.
There's no document that I am unwilling to turn a probing eye to. For this reason, I am a volunteer proofreader for Project Gutenberg - a massive venture to take printed out-of-copyright books and make them available to everyone, free of charge, in a variety of electronic formats.
Here's a brief list of books that I have proofread for Project Gutenberg.
• The Romance of a Shop; Levy, Amy; General Fiction.
• Practical Cooking and Dinner Giving; Henderson, Mary F.; Cooking.
• Handbook For Light Artillery; Dyer, Alexander Brydie; Military.
• The Works of the Rev. John Wesley Vol 9 of 32 (1772); Wesley, Rev. John; Religious.
• Simla Village Tales; Dracott, Alice; Folklore.
• Scott Burton, Forester; Cheyney, Edward G.; General Fiction.
