I am responsible for developing productivity tools that automate processes otherwise performed by humans. By eliminating or reducing manual work and risk of errors, the end product is delivered more efficiently. The root of what I do is creativity. Writing code is one thing but being able to visualize the application and its many functions as it relates to the structure of the code provides more robust results. I consider myself a software craftsman rather than an engineer because I take pride in my work and excel in the design and function as opposed to just the function. It is my pleasure as opposed to my job.
