Writing everything for any reason

Writing has always been a passion of mine. I have been writing for as long as I can remember but didn't start taking writing seriously until my last year of High School. I learned relatively quickly that I had no interest in journalisim or professional writing, but found I had a passion for creative writing. I wrote and brainstormed many short stories.

I brought my love for horror movies into my writing and thus have become effective in writing in the horror genre. I quickly became effective in writing stories with fully explored characters and clever plots. Character relationships were always important in my writing because I often found that, in horror, characters were hardly properly explored and I wanted my writing to stand out in that aspect.

I won the Creative Writing Award when I graduated High School but decided to study film instead of further my writing techniques. Having dropped out of the film program after only a year, I decided to pursue a career in writing. I took a year off to brainstorm and write small stories and am now comfortable with my writing once again to put myself out for hire.

I realize I may not have much to show for myself, but I am a hard and dedicated worker and will not dissapoint.
