  Mike has been great to work with on this project. He has taken the time (and patience) to learn more about our business and has participated on several Committee calls as well as provided on-going demonstrations and updates to the group.   Michael McManus has been a pleasure to work with. We had a complicated computer simulation model created in MSExcel using VBA, with inputs and outputs spread over several Excel pages. My job for Michael was to port the VBA over to a web based application, and created client side input and output pages - replacing the Excel pages. The Excel version was/is used only by a couple of the developers - who were familiar with bug-causing code, and simply knew how to avoid program errors by virtue of being the developers. Michael was able to tighten up the code so that the program could be used by the general public. Prior to giving Micheal the award, we were impressed with his preparation in generating his quote. His quote was a multi-page document detailing his understanding of what we were looking for, and a detailed description of how he planned to implement our job. Other prospective bidders gave nothing more than a price quote. As such, although his price was a little more than we had budgeted, our level of confidence that he could do the job was rock-solid. During the project implementation, he was always responsive to our email requests. And he had no issues with several minor changes we threw at him. We are certain to have several "offshoot" projects based upon this effort, and we will have no issues with hiring Michael again.
