My education includes an MBA from the University of Maryland with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. As an undergraduate, I attended the University of Notre Dame majoring in Economics. I am also an IRS Enrolled Agent.

My recent experience includes advising individuals and small businesses in tax matters. I have 15 years experience preparing individual and small business tax returns including S Corporations and Partnerships.

My professional career spans over 35 years with experience in management, accounting, bookkeeping, and tax. I have managed work forces as large as 1000 plus technical and professional individuals. As an individual contributor, one of my roles included applying my tax and accounting knowledge in testing and providing quality assurance for financial software products. I have extensive experience with Quick Books, Turbo Tax, and Pro Series software as both an analyst and a user.

As a consultant, I have worked with business owners on a number of projects. During one project, my direction of a quality improvement team led to the creation of new personnel policies and practices for the purpose of reducing Workman's Compensation claims. This team created the training manuals, hiring procedures, and incident documentation necessary to reduce claims by 88% over an 18-month period.
