Minakshi has deep experience working directly with social enterprises and small businesses. Minakshi started her career in Fashion and IT Operations but has dedicated her career to norprofits, social enterprises and small business since getting her MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Most recently, Minakshi managed the Learning and Impact team at REDF, a leading funder and thought leader in social enterprises focused on creating jobs for disadvantaged populations. Minakshi also worked on REDF's Portfolio team, where she provided grants and business assistance and mentoring to a portfolio of social enterprises. Prior to REDF, Minakshi was a consultant based in Boulder, CO and San Francisco. She worked with leading organizations including REDF, the Women's Bean Project, Expertus, Inc. and The Global Justice Center. Minakshi also has on-the-ground knowledge of running social enterprises from her prior experience as Enterprise Manager of San Francisco Clean City.
In addition to her MBA, Minakshi also holds a BA in Psychology from UC Berkeley and a Master of Fashion from the Instituto Marangoni in Milan.
