My art created more possibilities than I could have imagined. Opportunities began appearing everywhere for me. For this painter, art is the practice of bliss. A beautiful life devoted to the pursuit of beauty.
Digital Art is mysterious and magical to me, but primarily, it offers me access to a feeling of freedom. I once had a compelling childhood emotion inside that I needed to share my gift with the world. But the gift was not strong enough at that time to form a practice. Later on, I noticed that all my training as a literature professor, web designer, and as a recreation therapist, were there only to point the direction to the path I am now on.
Later in my life, I listened to my heart again for the first time and the experience was liberating. I believe that art has the transformative power to heal both the creator and the viewer. This is the reason why, when preparing to start painting, I ask myself, “Am I truly present in this moment? Am I ready to embark on a trip of surprises and honesty? Is my soul glittering, innocent?” If my answers are positive, then I start painting my digital art, because I want the viewer to get the best of me.
