Work Terms

Creating the best working terms for both of us involves setting clear expectations, ensuring mutual understanding, and fostering a productive and respectful working relationship. Here are some key terms and conditions I would like us to agree on:

1. Clear Scope of Work: detailed description of tasks and responsibilities, such as administrative support, correspondence management, calendar scheduling, social media management, customer service, etc., which will comprise the scope of the work. Also, define what tasks are outside the scope to avoid misunderstandings.

2. Work Hours and Availability: specify our working hours, including time zones, and whether they are fixed or flexible.

3. Response Time: Let's agree on your expected response times for messages, and task completions. Establish protocols for urgent tasks or situations requiring immediate attention.

4. Communication Channels: Define our primary communication channels (e.g., Outlook, Slack, Zoom) and how often check-ins or meetings will occur.

5. Payment Terms and Invoicing: Define rates -hourly, monthly retainer, or project-based fees; a payment schedule (e.g. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly); and payment methods (e.g., PayPal, Payoneer, bank transfer, etc.). Define any required required documentation or time-tracking methods.

6. Confidentiality and Data Security: Include a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect sensitive information. Establish guidelines for handling confidential information and secure data storage practices.

7. Performance and Feedback: Set clear performance metrics to evaluate the work, and maintain clear and iterative communication to ensure your satisfaction and my improvement.

8. Tools and Resources: Specify any tools, software you prefer and outline any necessary training or onboarding processes.

9. Task Management: Agree on how tasks will be assigned and tracked (e.g., task management software like Asana, Trello).Set clear expectations for deadlines and priorities.
