English/Arabic Freelance Translator & Proofreader
Please allow me to introduce myself: My name is Mostafa Gamal. I am a professional English Arabic Translator and Proofreader. Since 2010, I have worked as such for numerous worldwide agencies and governmental Entities. The projects I work on cover a wide variety of subjects.
As an experienced linguist with a bachelor’s degree in law from Cairo University, they focused on the English language and studied translation, interpretation, and proofreading. After finishing my degree, I worked full-time with a translation firm for websites and governmental entities. Then I worked as a freelance translator, where I worked with international clients in Mediterranean and Gulf markets. Later, I transitioned to management and headed a team of English/Arabic translators. My primary duties included matching clients to appropriate translators and providing more hands-on translation for higher-demand clients.
I have honed my translation skills in both English and Arabic, working on a wide range of projects in various industries, such as general translation, legal translation (documents, contracts, patents, and copyrights), business, commerce, construction & management translation (reports, work statements, questionnaires, invoices, corporate communication sector, etc.), banking documents and texts, information and communication technology (ICT), and finance & accounting translation. As a freelance translator with +13 years, I have successfully managed numerous translation and localization projects, including websites, software applications, and product manuals. This experience further bolstered my ability to adapt content to different target audiences while retaining the original message and tone. Also, a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills enable me to work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines.
