During my 12+ years of professional career, I have got the possibility to work on dozens of Ruby on Rails projects.
Let me choose a few of my recent projects from many others I've worked on and describe them quickly with short summary of tasks I've worked on:
- Prograd.uk - Joined the team as a Ruby on Rails developer. The task is to launch the Ruby on Rails application to the production server. It included infrastructure(Terraforms), CI/CD pipeline setup on AWS, domain switching(GoDaddy), and providing access to private database(Aurora PostgreSQL) access to the data analyst team(bastion hosts)
- Outdoor Sports Connections - I was the only developer to build its web application which was in Ruby on Rails version 4. The first task is to upgrade ruby on the Rails version to Rails version 5. I redesign the whole web application with the addition of new features.
I developed its Android/iOS mobile applications using React-Native.
- US-Concrete - my main responsibility there was improving code quality and refactoring for the project which was lacking earlier. I reviewed the code and refactored it where needed. I worked on open issues of the project.
- ToppleTrack - I was responsible to handle client queries related to bug fixing, Enhancements(UI), Stripe and PayPal Recurring payments, Rewrite the API(RESTful API) with standard error/code, Updated API documentation, and the ability to add more search Engine for searching purposes
- Maester - Started a Ruby on Rails application including Application design, database design, and initial modules. For the initial modules, we wrote a Test case using capybara, selenium, and cucumber.
