I’m a freelance video game, TV, film, and entertainment journalist, copywriter, and editor, with experience producing content in B2B, B2C, press and TV listings, and general entertainment media.
I’ve written about video games and the games industry for The Observer and The Guardian, and worked as a staff writer on MCV/Develop; a magazine and website for the video games development and publication industries.
I’ve created B2B and press copy, TV listings, and metadata for the BBC, BBC Studios, ITV, Sky, SyFy, Multichoice, Deutche Welle, CNN, and Horror Channel while working for the Press Association.
I’ve also served as a judge for the Develop Awards, and written for consumer entertainment sites like Movie Moron.
My passions are for visual and digital entertainment, and the ways these industries change and evolve as business and consumer technology reaches new levels of technical performance and ease of access. I’m excited for the future of TV, film, and video games, and the blurring boundaries between these different storytelling mediums.
Otherwise I am a LEGO obsessive, read an inordinate amount of horror and sci-fi novels, and spend an equally exorbitant amount of time organising and reorganising my Arrow, Eureka and Criterion Collection blu-rays. Sometimes I even play video games.
