Muhammad Idrees Yahya is by profession a Customs Agent, he has been working in the field for 5 years and is working alongside his father, the Ex-President of the Karachi Customs Agent Association (KCAA), Mr. Yahya Muhammad. He is also working as a National Consultant at, International Trade Centre, and has been working with them on ReMIT Project, with his contributions to the Trade Facilitation Portal.
Apart from the above, Mr. Muhammad Idrees Yahya has completed an Engineering Degree, is now perusing a degree in Law, and is in his final year.
His expertise is based on his experience in the field of Customs Clearance, which has helped him understand the key domains, rules, regulations, and practices adopted in trade by all stakeholders. This has also helped him become the anchorperson in providing the relevant information required for the Trade Facilitation Portal.
He has conducted multiple seminars and has trained government officers regarding trade facilitation.
