CAREAR OBJECTIVE


I feel that my skills are equally well suited to the Pre Contract or the Contract Phase of Construction projects. I have the skills necessary to carry out the Pre Contract, Contract Phase and Post Contract duties required by Consultants, Main Contractor, Sub-contractor or Client side equally well. Therefore positions in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Bid Management and Commercial Management would be ideal roles for me in any of these environments however I feel that my personal preference for my career would be towards “Quantity Surveyor “with, preferably, a career progression route.

During the 25 years in the field and previously have been employed by Consultants and Contractor, I have found that this has helped my overall development and grounding and broadened my skills in working Estimation, Verification, Preparation of IPA, Variation Order, Cost Estimation and dealing with Sub-contract environments. All my career positions helped me to gain knowledge and practice of studying, implementation of contracts, interpretation of contract, technical specification/requirements and FIDIC as well as preparation of sub contracts.
I feel my strengths are that I am motivated, accurate, thorough, a good communicator, well organized, willing to learn new skills, open minded, efficient, and determined to succeed and patient.
I worked in Saudi Arabia for two years with Alrabiah Consulting Engineering Services, Dammam on a mega project as Chief Quantity Surveyor for two years at “AL RUQ’EE BORDER EXIT PROJECT”.

I always plan well and hope for the best while been prepared to deal with the daily obstacles that the modern working world presents to us. If things do go wrong I am ready to respond as quickly and efficiently as my skills would allow.
