I am graduate in commerce (BCom), qualified public accountant (APA) and preparing for the CIMA examination. I have more than seven year of experience in accounts and finance field. During this period, I perform the tasks of bookkeeping and accounting and experience as;
1. Bookkeeper:
- set up chart of accounts in a manner that could provide the best possible reports for decision making
- enter / record financial transactions in accounting software or maintain it in excel
- generate invoices, prepare aging analysis, take care of receipts and customers account (including liaise with customer for payments and reconciling)
- generate bills, prepare aging analysis, take care of payments and vendors account (including reconciling & line up payments)
- generate payroll, take care of payments, maintain employees records and accounts
- book fixed assets, prepare fixed assets schedule along with coding, compute depreciation and maintain fixed assets register
- reconcile bank / credit card statements and record the unrecorded transactions e.g., bank charges, profit and deductions
- compute / record accruals, prepayments, advances, loans and made year end adjustments
- adjusting transactions & closing financials
- prepare and present the financial statements (including P&L / income statement, balance sheet and cash flows)
2. Accounting:
- prepare & present financial / cost data analytic report along with professional comment
- build & maintain cost accounting system
- prepare & present cost, management & financial report
- establish assumptions and make periodical budgets / projections / forecasting
- assist and establishing company’s tactic and strategic plans
- assists in business development
- assist in lodging BAS, FBT, filling tax return, Super, PAYG and GST return
Work Terms
