I am university graduate in commerce, having 27+ years experience of developing and delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance sheet and Profit and loss statement for management within strict deadlines.

Currently I am associated with Gulf Agency Company Ltd (https://www.gac.com), which trades as GAC, is a leading global provider of shipping, logistics, and marine services. In Pakistan the group has four active companies involved in shipping agency, forwarding and stevedoring and container terminal.
My Responsibilities as a Manager Accounts in GAC:
- Managing financial reporting requirements. Includes monthly, quarterly and annual
financial statements and other measures.
- Managing a team of personnel ensured the works have to complete in a timely manner
and a good quality report issued.
- Responsible for preparing audited accounts and coordinating with auditor for timely
completion of financial audit.
- Maintaining accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining
accounting policies and procedures.
- Responsible for monthly accounts, variance checks and comparison of actual with the organization budget.
- Responding to inquiries from MD, FM regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of income and expenses by thoroughly reviewing financials.
- Organizing and controlling the accounts function and daily routine transactions.
- Responsible for reviewing all financial transactions related to vessel job account.
- Ensure maximum utilization of Dolphin – financial accounting system.
- Responsible for preparing BoD meeting presentation on PowerPoint.
- Involving in renewal process of insurance policies and other matters.
- Responsible for preparing annual budget and forecasting trends.
