A Partnership in Writing!
I was raised in a very small town in upstate New York and moved to San Diego in 1981. At heart I'm still a small-town girl with small-town work ethics. I have always loved words and the English language! I have a natural talent for proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc. My father was a high school English teacher for most of his career--perhaps my talent is genetic? Certainly it is partly environmental!
I worked for several years in the health care field before deciding I really wanted a job where I could use my skills in grammar and proper use of the English language. I started out as a word processor when personal computing was in its infancy. I became certified in copy editing and worked in-house for a law firm. I have also worked in the manufacturing, corporate, and direct advertising fields, always using my strong English language skills in grammar, punctuation, and writing. I absolutely love helping authors present their best work possible. So many people have wonderful thoughts and ideas to share but don't always have the language skills to present them in a clear and concise manner. I do have those skills, and I want to help you present your best possible work.
Work Terms
I am available for part-time work with flexible hours. My charge is $40 per hour with a one-hour minimum. I am very professional, responsive, thorough, detail-oriented, fast and accurate!
