I am a student soon to graduate with a B.S. in psychology and a Minor in nonprofit management. My dream is to work for a nonprofit and supplement my income by working at home helping others.
I will be graduating May 7, 2016. I also currently work part time with adults who have cognitive delays. My B.S. is in psychology but I also have a Minor in nonprofit management. I have served my community be residing on the board of directors for multiple nonprofit organizations, and have lobbied for health care rights.
Before my return to college, I was working as the Head of Patient Communications as well as Lead Therapist at a Chiropractor's office. I orchestrated and created monthly articles and upcoming events, communicated with patients regarding specials, insurance benefits and treatment plans. I was also a massage educator, where I edited and updated old policies and wrote new policies and protocol as needed. Additionally, I presented theories such as prenatal massage, Swedish massage, hot stone massage in addition to body treatments.
Prior to the majority of my massage career, I was an HR Administrator as well as a Sales Administrator. I have created, revised and implemented Standard Operating Procedures. As an administrator I served the Communications department, Payroll department and Customer Service department through technical support, revising and editing documents, employee communications and relationship building. At this time, I also served on the corporate Volunteer Steering Committee and committed hundreds of hours a week to serving my community.
Work Terms
Terms of work are negotiable. Communication via email is preferred and will be responded to within a mutually agreed upon time frame. Payment will depend on the size and complexity of the project but typically partial payment will be expected up front, with 1-3 payments due by the end of the project.
Each client's expectations are different and I will work with each client until fair terms are established.
