I’m Your Mirror – Art That Reflects Your Story
I’m a professional book illustrator with a passion for creating detailed and individualized art. From a young age, growing up in the USSR, I found solace in books, drawing, and building imaginative worlds with paper, glue, and paint. My journey into illustration was a natural evolution, and now I specialize in children's books, puzzles, and coloring pages, where I aim to capture the essence of each character and story.
My style blends old-school techniques with a modern digital approach, often treating digital art like traditional ink, pencil, and paint on paper. Whether working on a magical scene or a teenage story, I infuse my illustrations with subtle, real-life details and symbols that reveal the deeper layers of my characters. I believe that reality gives my work the depth and authenticity it needs to resonate with my audience.
Known for my friendly interest and truthfulness, I bring an open and honest energy to each project. I’m especially proud of my work on Sholem Aleichem's Motl the Cantor's Son, a standout project that showcases my ability to blend history and storytelling with my signature illustrative style.
In addition to my professional work, I speak Italian, a language I studied out of love for the culture and its beauty. I live in a vibrant village full of unique characters, and I draw inspiration from the everyday lives of the people and animals around me. I often bring their personalities into my work, especially my love for dogs and cats. I’m excited to create a set of country portraits that celebrate the charm and quirks of rural life.
