I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a BS in Civil Engineering.

I started as a bridge designer for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. In that position I collaborated with my other professionals to see the project all the way through the design process.

After two years of designing, I transitioned to construction project management. As a project manager, I was responsible for the QC/QA of bridge construction projects. In addition to QC/QA, I managed a team of inspectors and was responsible for facilitating payments to contractors. My daily activities included tracking the project schedule, communicating with contractors, problem-solving, community relations, and other administrative tasks.

I had the opportunity to manage several multi-million dollar construction projects.

For the past five years I have lived and worked overseas as a social entrepreneur. I have lived in India since 2015, developing social businesses committed to tackling some of the most pressing social and environmental issues of the country. I have served on and been part of a team of individuals working towards these sustainability goals. I am responsible for the administrative tasks of the team, which include; scheduling, business incorporation, data entry, customer relations, accounting, recording meeting minutes, and team communication.

Also, I am the lead product research and design team member. Our business has developed several models of fuel-efficient cookstoves and been in the testing process of water filtration devices.
