Nathan is from Salt Lake City, Utah. He loved playing guitar since mastering the videogame "Guitar Hero." Then he started playing electric guitar due to his favorite bands. Those included Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, and Pantera. He played in bands with friends and performed a couple times too.

But he had to go to college soon. So Nathan picked up the classical acoustic guitar. After about two years of tudy, Nathan auditioned and was given a scholarship to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. There he worked with one of the greatest guitarists and teachers of all time, David Tanenbaum. He provided Nathan with insights into the guitar’s inner workings. He also let him know the best ways of teaching those to others. Nathan graduated from the Conservatory with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in guitar performance.

After that he founded his own two companies. His current company, Lone Star Guitar Lessons, is in Austin, Texas. There, he's taught hundreds of students thousands of lessons. And he is looking forward to teaching you soon too.
