Intentional. Sincere. Sophisticated.
I am a graphic and web designer from central Ohio. I have worked in the field of design for over 6 years now, and I can definitely say that it has become a passion of mine. I love collaborating with other individuals who have related talents, to create exceptional products, and at the same time hone my skills. My ambition is to forge designs that are intentional, sincere and sophisticated, and at most, put a smile on the client’s face.
I have spent the last 5 years as a UX and Interaction designer for the JP Morgan Chase on the ATM, web, mobile and various internal facing applications. It's great work, UX and design is something I have a lot of passion for and I enjoy the challenge. My responsibilities consist of:
Create UI mockups and hi-fi UI composites.
Create and manage application Style guides.
Follow UX process and collaborate with my team to design a variety of UI.
Work alongside our UX team’s developer to design and build prototypes usability testing.
Vet new UIs via usability testing then utilize findings and observations to adjust the UI accordingly.
Work directly with development to ensure pixel perfection in the UI.
Manage all UX and UI visual deliverables.
Work with various lines of business and IT in both Agile and Waterfall methods of application development and deployment
I have had several jobs in involving web and graphic design the last several years. I especially enjoy logo design and branding, but I have been known to build a web page or two. I mostly keep those skills sharp by taking on the occasional freelance project.
When I am not at work I spend my time as a husband and father. I love working on projects around the house and spend whatever free time I have left over gaming and trying to learn guitar.
Work Terms
As I do work full-time, I work on my freelance projects in the evening and on the weekends.
I prefer to communicate face-to-face if at all possible, whether that is Skype or by other means.
I prefer a flat fee per project, but I can do hourly.
