Professional flutist, organist, music engraver/copyist, and part-time amateur baker
I started down the musical path in 2013 when I began my bachelor's at the University of Cape Town, double majored in flute and organ and graduated with distinction in 2016. After this I completed an Honours degree in flute performance in half the time as I was off to the USA to start my Masters in flute performance. I had the privilege of studying with Amy Porter on flute, Kola Owolabi on organ, and also obtained a Graduate Certificate in Arts Leadership & Entrepreneurship through the University of Michigan's EXCEL Department. In my one year of work authorization after this degree I worked for 2 music publication companies which created critical editions of works by American composers.
Since returning to Cape Town in March 2020 I have worked for a few US-based clients as well as completed some typesetting gigs for the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.
Work Terms
I can work pretty much any time of day as well as on weekends and like to communicate via e-mail or Zoom.
My rates are also variable based on the project and can be negotiated before projects start.
