Senior iSeries Systems Analyst/Developer
I am a very experienced and successful Systems Analyst/Programmer. I have 28 years iSeries expertise utilizing all flavours of RPG(II III 400 IV/ILE Free Format) and the Synon2E/CA2E 4GL case tool along with SQL (RPG embedded as well) and DB2 relationship database skills while encompassing the full software development life cycle across a multitude of roles and industries within both Europe and New Zealand. I have also undertaken or been involved with operational and database administrator duties, technical support and help desk, coaching, peer testing and mentoring, business analysis and requirements gathering, unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing and implementation along with producing detailed technical/functional specifications and test plans as well as customization documentation. I have 14 years’ experience within the Insurance industry but also have experience of logistics, manufacturing, retail and software house environments. I have constantly delivered successful software solutions to time and budget thrilling both managers and stakeholders in all sectors that I have worked in.
