? Working as Part of Level 3 DBA team and providing 24x7 supports.
? Good Knowledge of Oracle Architecture, Configuration and Patching.
? Experience on Oracle Installation 9i,10g, 11g for DB and client.
? Maintenance of Database security (create users, profiles, roles, and assign privileges).
? Preparation of Capacity planning report
? Scripts for monitoring instance availability, listener availability and critical errors on alertlogfile etc
? Creation of new databases in Production/Development Environment
? Creation of standby database
? Create Database links and Materialized views used retrieve data from remote database
? Experience in Implement Flashback Database and Restore dropped tables from flash back area
? On-Call support on weekends for Database maintenance activities
? Automation of backup and recovery, tasks in all environments – dev, test and production.
? Backup and Recovery using Exports/Imports, Cold, HOT and RMAN Methodologies
? Configuring RMAN and maintaining Recovery catalog, writing automation scripts
? Backup of the database on-demand
? Migration/Upgradation of the database to 11g
? Database Re-organization
? Root-cause analysis for recurring issues
? Tablespace / Datafile Management
? Automated analysis of invalid Objects in Database
? Periodic Maintenance activities on Databases Example - Index Rebuilding
