Transforming raw data into a better world
After several years of work with geographic information systems (GIS), I fell in love with programming in 2013 when I first began automating map production and other processes involving spatial data. The resulting unforeseen productivity and job satisfaction eventually led to a full-time developer role in 2017. Since 2020, I have thoroughly enjoyed freelance opportunities to build both desktop and web applications resulting in efficiency and actionable insight in road safety, workplace safety, and real estate. Other previous fields of application include electric utilities, oil and gas infrastructure, civil engineering, coastal morphology, and natural disaster preparedness and response.
Work Terms
Based in Istanbul - easy to work with anyone within three hours of GMT+3, but I also have experience overlapping with the morning hours of American clients and the afternoon hours of clients in Australia and New Zealand.
Grateful for past opportunities to partner with other developers - I enjoy a mix of that collaboration and autonomous work.
