Born in San Diego, California, I began learning Spanish as a five year old in an immersive school setting and have continued my studies to this day. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with degrees in Spanish and Globalization Studies, completed advanced coursework at the University of Costa Rica and have spent a cumulative four years living in Latin America.

I have two years of professional experience, am a student in UC San Diego's translation and interpretation program, and am currently working for a San Diego County school district as a translator and interpreter.
