Full-stack developer and Master of Public Health who is passionate about developing dynamic, user-friendly web apps to engage with individuals.
In July 2017, I completed a Full Stack Flex Web Development certificate program at Georgia Institute of Technology in order to gain skills in developing dynamic web apps that engage users. Additionally, I have a Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. Working at a non-profit in today's quickly evolving health care field has fostered my interest in dynamic, responsive apps. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge that has come with learning to program.
Over the past seven years, I have gained public health experience in research, evaluation, and project management throughout six states (AL, GA, MI, MS, NJ, TX) and four countries (Kenya, Tanzania, U.S., Zambia). I also worked on various projects, during which I utilized Microsoft Excel, SPSS, and SAS. Through these experiences, I have co-authored one peer-reviewed, published article and three presentations that my co-authors have presented at conferences worldwide.
Working at a non-profit has taught me to adapt quickly to changing demands and communicate frequently with clients. Thank you for your consideration.
