For writing that sparkles with creativity and quality; for deadlines always honoured; for a deep understanding of your brief or business model, join me at The Gutenberg Press
As well as my qualifications in writing and academic support, I have also been employed in both general and mental health nursing; teaching; non-profit project and volunteer management; and latterly, mental health management. I enjoy writing non-fiction material, but I also love to write about quirky or curious topics. I have particular strengths in creative writing, and writing about the arts.
I have been writing, proofreading and editing since 2000 for private and third sector clients, and non-native English speakers such as students and medical staff. I adapt my tone and style to your brief, though I can write from a more literary perspective if you enjoy a creative approach and a nice turn of phrase. I have had work published in the James Joyce Centenary Collection and been a prize-winner in the Yorkshire Open Poetry Competition.
I delivery occasional poetry readings, but when I am not writing I am usually found on my yoga mat practising handstands so that I can progress to Ashtanga Yoga 3rd series. No pressure then!
