Asst. Manager, Global Innovations- Household Care in Hindustan Unilever(HUL) (September 2012 – May 2013)
I am working as a brand development manager on Household Care innovations (in the health and hygiene space) for low income consumers in the Developing and Emerging countries. My work entails:
o Developing disruptive solutions for the household care needs of consumers in the low income segment based on market assessment and need gap analysis and in lines with the broader Sustainability agenda.
o Developing the product mix across the four Ps- Product, Price, Proposition and Packaging based on consumer, shopper and retail insights. Finalizing of the mix post consumer tests and simulated in store placement.
o Deliver a robust Business Case for the new product to be launched at a competitive pricing while maintaining the Global brand GM%, and in lines with the Unilever accepted IRR and NPV
o Lead the Innovation Project Management process; coordination with R&D, CMI, Co
