I have worked as retail sales person in a busy environment, most of the time assisting customers to buy outfits for different events. My last job which I liked so much. I worked as an Administration Clerk for two years and some of my duties were as follows :
Perform clerical activities of a school to support principal, teachers and administrative staff
Ensure that all filing is signed off, accurate and filed correctly
Maintain and manage school and department records in an organized manner
Assist and support school principal in running the school successfully
Render administrative support services (photocopying, faxing, e-mails, etc.)
Maintain daily attendance record of students in the school
Answer and respond to student inquiries regarding their attendance, fees and academics
Maintain regular contacts with parents and update them on their children’s attendance and progress
Assist and support teachers in initiating classroom discipline
Assist teaching staff in preparing instructional material
Maintain, manage and organize instructional material, tools, kits and equipment
Perform line support service (Reception) and switchboard operator
Write minutes for the meetings
Assist in preparing of the year budget and maintenance of school funds
Compile monthly expenditure for journals
Verification of invoices and attend to client queries
