I’m a multi-potential professional with experience in several industries, including omnichannel retail, mainstream media, non-profit organisations, and risk services. Content management, communications training, and storytelling are some of my top-tier service offerings.
While my recent job titles allude to a niche specialisation in media engagement and communications, I have served in an array of administrative and coordinating capacities in the execution of these roles for over a decade. These ranged from the project management of internal events to the administrative coordination of a Big Four Firm’s annual strategic planning process. I have also developed workflow systems for editorial document reviews and served as an interdepartmental liaison on systems redevelopment and migration projects. Concisely put, I’m the admin guru you want on your team who can also perform a range of specialised functions.
My recent role at a Big Four consulting firm included corporate communications training to executives and holiday workers, and working with people from various age groups.
My journey in the media and communications industry began at 15 when I got involved in community radio. Through this experience, I developed presenting, producing, and sound engineering skills. My philanthropic and professional work has always reflected my passion for impactful communications and storytelling, and I firmly believe in “paying it forward.” I have engaged with youth-based and been a part of community initiatives since my early teens.
While my experience spans over two decades, I remain teachable and believe in lifelong learning.
Beyond my advocacy work, I have a deep passion for the arts and have immersed myself in Cape Town’s vibrant underground music scene and theatre industry. I have collaborated with some of the most talented entertainers and artists in South Africa, by contributing my unique skills and perspective.
My wealth of experience in comprehensive communications includes working with a prestigious internationally renowned functional art company, an omnichannel homeware retailer in Southern Africa, and a prominent South African faith-based, socio-welfare, and educational organisation – to mention a few.
Work Terms
I work flexible hours to suit my clients' needs — this includes working across various time zones and according to the calendars of their respective countries (holidays, work weeks, etc.)
I typically require a 50% deposit upfront and the remaining balance upon completion, unless we agree on other arrangements beforehand.
