Professionalism and tenacity
I have provided analytical and technical support and development in the retail, engineering, banking and financial services industries. More recently I have been developing Office based applications (Excel, Access, Outlook and Word) using VBA, C#, ADO.NET, SQL, XML and VBScript on a fairly regular basis, as well as some C# libraries and Windows Forms applications.
Objectivity is an attribute that I feel lends itself well to the field of informaiton technology. With the ability to be objective, one can understand the stakeholders' and end users' point of view much more clearly. This will enable a programmer analyst to better understand the business need and provide a better solution. If you need a good solution quickly, my objective problem solving approach and willingness to meet your requirements in the most effective and efficient way will result in both a good experience and product.
Work Terms
I work very frequently so I try to make myself available via email or Instant Messaging most of the time. If you have contracted me, I try to make myself available on your schedule. Phone calls and Skype are acceptable if we setup a time. Any work I do I will support, within reason. If a functional bug is found once we have completed our initial business, I will be glad to debug the problem at no cost to you if the problem is my code. If the issue is beyond my control, I will gladly explain my analysis of the problem and suggest avenues for support of the source. In the latter case, should I spend more than 1 or 2 hours, I would expect compensation for consultation. Ultimately, i am a very hard and efficient worker who enjoys system and application development. I look forward to working with you.
