I began my working career at age 13 as a nanny. Once I graduated from high school, I attended college and was a student employee working in the office. I graduated with a certificate in data entry. I moved to California where I attended the International Air Academy, earning my certificate in travel and tourism. I worked for Continental Airlines for awhile before beginning a one week temporary job at Miami University in Ohio. That one week turned into two, then into six and eventually became a full time position. I am now in my 30th year. I've been with Miami in several departments including records and research, office personnel in student counseling, administrative assistant to the Director of Development, assistant to the Director of Communications, Director of Marketing, Director of Web Services and I also run the graphics lab.
I can work 20-30 hours a week right now and 40+ hours a week after September 1, 2015. I prefer to be paid by PayPal and to communicate by email. I have a full office set up at home and am familiar with both PC and MAC platforms.
