In school, I excelled in English , often finding solace in the creative expression they offered. My teachers praised my writing and design skills, urging me to pursue a career in the arts. However, I was uncertain about how to turn my passions into a profession.
During my junior year, I stumbled upon a ghostwriting opportunity. A friend's family member needed someone to write their memoir, and I was recommended for the job. The project challenged me to adapt my writing style to the client's voice and tone. The experience not only earned me a decent income but also taught me the value of versatility and discretion in writing.
As I neared graduation, I realized that I wanted to combine my writing and design skills to offer a unique service. I began to explore the world of graphic design, learning about typography, color theory, and visual composition. I invested in design software, practiced creating logos, brochures, and social media graphics, and built a portfolio of my work while in science class.
After sec school, I launched my career as a ghostwriter, graphic designer, and poet. I offered my services on freelance platforms, networking with potential clients and collaborators.
