Data scientist with strong programming skills.

I am a data scientist with extensive programming (15+ years) and academic experience, interested in data mining and machine learning. For programming I mostly use python and its scientific libraries: numpy, scipy, sklearn, pandas, nltk etc. Also, I use R language inside R-studio for visualizations and reporting and C/C++ for speed.

I've studied machine learning and data mining online courses from Stanford, Caltech, MIT, etc.
I've worked on practical machine learning projects from Kaggle (with a score in the top 10% of involved data scientists) and as an independent contractor. I recommended the missing links in a social network, predicted the salary of job ad based on its contents, auction price, built a web pages classifier, made sentiment analysis on movie reviews. As a contractor, I predicted user's profile from the click stream for advertisement targeting, age and diseases from biometric data, made cluster analysis of job postings, classified and summarized news articles, etc.
