Creative, savvy, entertaining filmmaker, writer, & artist
Hello! I am a rising senior at Emerson College in Boston, MA, and I am currently pursuing a BFA (bachelor of fine arts) degree in film production. My focus is on screenwriting and directing, and I am in the second phase of writing, directing and shooting a narrative film as my thesis. Throughout my three years at Emerson, I have honed my skills; I am particularly good at video editing (FCPX & Avid), screenwriting (short films), creative writing (fiction), Photoshop (logo design, posters, etc), and directing (documentaries and narrative). This past May, I embarked on my first journey into the world of independent filmmaking. I traveled to the Netherlands and shot a feature-length documentary about a Dutch folk metal band called Heidevolk. The process actually began in October of 2015, and through two crowdfunding campaigns, multiple promotional videos, and a close connection with the band, I was able to fund most of film (travel, lodging, food, etc). 'From Old Ground' is scheduled to be released alongside Heidevolk's new album in early 2017. Since I was a little girl, I've been writing and drawing as well. Fiction, pencil, pastel, and watercolor are my preferred mediums. From the age of 14, I wrote for the Intelligencer/Courier Times, a suburban Philadelphia newspaper, and since have had over 70 articles published.
