I am an HR specialist, with several years of experience in people development, customer service, entrepreneurship and teaching. I currently work as an HR consultant with firms in Nigeria.
My name is Olukemi Ade-Adeniji. I have several years of work experience in the fields of banking, personnel management, entrepreneurship, customer service and teaching.
My first degree is in English and I have taught English as a subject in both the junior and senior high schools in Nigeria. I have a professional certificate in human resource management (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management), with a masters in Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management. I worked as a banker for 11 years before going into private business. My responsibilities as a banker covered customer service, balancing of accounts of customers and the bank, preparing financial reports in excel format, responding to emails and other virtual work.
I have just enrolled in a PhD program in HRM, this gives me the opportunity for further work in research, writing of papers and journals. Currently, my job as a consultant is mainly in the areas of workforce staffing and development, this entails sourcing and recruiting staff, developing them through mentoring and training.
Work Terms
I operate a flexible work time because I am self -employed. But i live in Nigeria, therefore there will be need to agree with my client on the preferred time. Using e-mails and Skype will be preferable.
