Social Media Specialist | Content Creator

After finishing high school I decided to enroll in MUST’s mass media and communication as I found digital media fascinating and wanted to know more about it.

I was a PR Commitee Vice at Enigma (Apr2016-May2017) which was a student activity aiming to help other students academically and professionally by organizing relevant events and workshops.

My and tasks included:
-Creating a PR plan.
-Creating a recruitment and training plan for committee members.
-Create the work breakdown structure to delegate tasks and make sure the work is done effectively and in a timely manner.

The previous points are tailored to achieve the goals and objectives set by the head of the marketing committee and the founder.

As a member of the PR and marketing committee our job was to plan for and launch events, market for those events in person and on our Facebook page.
My responsibilities included:

-Working with the team to brainstorm for ideas for the events.
-Creating a marketing plan for the events.
-contacting the speakers.
-organizing the event.

And overall ensuring that we achieve the targets set by the marketing head.

It led me to realize how marketing feels very similar to a game in how I need to plan and strategize and find out what message I want to send? Why? And how to best deliver that message to the right people!
So I chose to specialize and pursue a major in PR and Advertising and graduated with an excellent degree with honors.

I can apply all that I learned during college, volunteer experience, and Udacity’s Nanodegree to confidently build and execute social media strategies, create marketing campaign plans, manage social media accounts and their content to build meaningful connections with the community members.
