Ominext started out on January 13, 2012 with 5 young developers in a small apartment positioned in Xa La Apartment Complex, Hanoi, Vietnam. 2 members of these moved to Japan in March 2012 because they realized the market potentials and the needs to expand business. The company was initially specialized in Web Applications Development, primarily focus on projects related to health care. During the first year, Ominext continuously sought for talents and was able to established Mobile Development Department, writing applications mainly for iOS and Android. In February 2013, the branch company OmiJapan was opened and operated under the administration of CEO Dang My Hanh. In the same year, the Game Department was launched and started developing applications based on Unity. In 2014 the company was able to establish business relationship with 15 Japanese partners, specializing in fields of web, mobile applications and games development.In March 2015, the Product Development Department was founded with the mission of performing R&D and developing the company’s own products. Ominext achieved quality management certificate ISO 9001 and Information Security certificate ISO 27001 in April. Five months later, Ominext moved into the current 405m2 head office in CTM Complex Building located in Cau Giay District, Hanoi, Vietnam. It also marked the first time that our firm sent IT developers to Japan to work on a full-time basis. The total Ominexters in Japan is 6, including one Japanese member in the Board of Management. The company’s workforce topped out at 100 in December 2015 and expected to be doubled in the year of 2016. Up until now, Ominext has successfully developed approximately 135 mobile applications, 60 web applications and 40 games.
