My name is Onix Blackwell. I was originally born on the coast of Venezuela, from Spanish and Italian parents. My upbringing took place in many different parts of Europe and the United States. However, despite all of my adventures through numerous different lands, I found my way to the indie beat of Salt Lake City.

I don’t just photograph subjects or things; I photograph an idea and the way it makes me feel. Admittedly, it’s a bit of a strange concept, but in all honesty, that’s the best way to describe my approach. I debate with every image I shoot in the hopes of reaching its full potential.
