I am a graduated Electronics Engineer living in the mid-sized coastal city of Mar del Plata, in Argentina. I have been constantly improving my English since I was about six years old, with after-school English courses and self study. I have taken and passed several international ESL exams, including the Cambridge's Certificate of Proficiency in English test. Thanks to this hard work and my constant use of the language, I have reached a level of fluency in which I can comfortably and effortlessly translate most types of texts back and forth between English and Spanish.

Though I work full-time as an engineer for PepsiCo, I have been working as a freelance editor for an editing company (CACTUS). My level of English in relation to the technical and scientific world is such that I can work as a proofreader and editor for scientific articles that are sent for publication in scientific magazines such as the various IEEE Letters. I specialize in the fields of electronics, programming, computer science, though I am not restricted to these areas for technical translations. I am also an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy, my favorite English-speaking authors being H. P. Lovecraft, Douglas Adams, and Isaac Asimov. Additionally, I have been self-studying Japanese, which is a language that has always fascinated me.

I am looking to work from home while putting my Spanish and English knowledge to good use. As a starter, my rates are lower than those of my competitors based on the quality of the final product I can deliver. I pay a lot of attention to detail and have a broad understanding of today's and yesterday's colloquialisms. I will deliver translations that are true to the original text.
