PhD Marine Biologist

Spanish marine biologist with extensive experience in cetacean rescue and research, pathology of marine vertebrates, aquaculture and breeding of marine fishes.

Computers: Extensive experience in GNU/Linux (that I use since 15 years for all type of tasks related with research, biology and document creation). Experience publishing in scientific journals of course and with professional creation and manipulation advanced of PDF. Latex expert. Experience also managing SQL databases, creating complex graphs, working with image and audio file formats and doing statistical analysis of scientific data. My programming languages of choice currently are R, Perl and Common Lisp. I feel very comfortable also working with shells and terminals; create and run complex commands to solve difficult tasks in bash is a regular part of my work day.

Interested in garden and pond design and creation and keeping rare plants and fruit trees from the world
