Pamela served as a founding consultant for Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work for in America™ project and has worked with hundreds of companies and leaders to create exceptional, award-winning workplaces. Pamela has founded two consultancy/coaching organizations and has spent over seventeen years helping companies create exceptional workplaces and individuals create exceptional lives. Pamela was one of an elite group recruited to train with Dr. Martha Beck, New York Times best-selling author and Oprah Winfrey’s Best Life® Coach.
Pamela is a veteran facilitator, speaker, senior consultant & coach. Pamela is an author and subject matter expert for publications such as Working Mother Magazine, Health Magazine and NPR.
Pamela holds a Master's degree in Organizational Behavior and Development from Stanford University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of California, Davis. At Stanford, Pamela completed a self-designed program blending offerings from: the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Industrial Engineering Management, Sociology and the Graduate School of Education.
Pamela has an active passion for wellness in all aspects of life and has practiced tai chi, yoga, meditation and many other mind/body integration techniques for many years.
For 14 years, Pamela partnered with the state of Utah, serving as Award Architect to design and develop the Utah Work/Life Award™ honoring Utah’s Best Places to Work™. Ballo authored many workplace best practice booklets and served as a featured speaker at industry and employer conferences across the country.
Pamela was a pioneering member of the Silicon Valley Professional and Technical Diversity Network, and served on the founding steering committee with experts from Microsoft, HP, Apple, Genentech, Adobe, IBM, Sun and others.
