I am a professional proofreader and creative writer whose first job was as an English and Communication teacher for 13 years. I left teaching because I migrated from my Native Trinidad and Tobago to London, England. While there I worked in sales and was soon promoted to trainer and later when I returned home to office manager. I left sales and tried my hand at administration, Human Resource Management, Facilities Management, Health and Safety Management and Journalism all the while writing in my free time before realising my real talent lay in proofreading and writing.
I have ghostwritten a couple of ebooks and written articles and reports on a variety of topics on this and other freelance writing sites. The topics ranged from Fear of Public Speaking to Types of Mixed Martial Arts to The Benefits of Alkaline Water and Indoor vs Outdoor Running. All clients were impressed with my command of the language and my attention to detail as well as my ability to explain products and processes in a way that would be easy for everyone to understand. I also routinely deliver quality work on time and with little if any errors.
I have a BA in English Literature from McMaster University in Canada and a post graduate Diploma in Education in the teaching of English. I also have certificate in Human Resource Management.
I am currently ghostwriting a book on marriage for an employer on Guru.

Work Terms

I prefer communicating in writing- texts, whatsapp, email, google but am open to Skype etc. I also prefer to give a flat fee for work done over a specified period of time rather than to charge by the hour.
