I am a Chartered Accountant from India with over 30 years of varied and versatile experience in the areas of:

- Handling Finance function & extensive networking across multiple constituents.
- Overseeing Finance function across multiple companies and countries.
- Focus on Financial management, Planning / Forecasting, Analysis & Compliance.
- Acquisition projects including feasibility. All subsequent processes until acquisition.
- Integration of newly acquired businesses into the mainstream.

My approach to work is result oriented. I like to lead people with a clear focus on achieving desired results and setting new standards. I have proven abilities in working with diverse work areas and people. I also firmly believe in proactively identifying and resolving problems, working with a focused objective, controlling or effectively communicating with different constituent units and leading as a team man.

Post CA qualification in 1987, I spent my first 2 years with A. F. Ferguson & Co in Mumbai as Audit Assistant.

Next 8 years were with Thomas Cook India Ltd in challenging, rewarding and highly motivating career with close interactions with senior management both in India and in UK. In the process handled complete charge of financial accounting, treasury, corporate and personnel taxation, statutory and tax audits including representing the company before all Income tax authorities.

Thereafter I moved to Dubai to wok with Al-Futtaim Group, one of the most respected corporations in the lower Gulf Region. 23 years with them represents a strong working experience spanning across:

- Financial management across countries / regions
- Strategic plans, Budgets, Forecasts
- Cost control and management
- Management reporting and Financial accounts
- Acquisition and Integration processes
- Turnaround initiatives and Strategies
- Wide exposure to Compliance and Internal Audit

I am now into own consulting as a career perspective and to make use of acquired skill sets.
