Our company was founded in August 2022, having observed the gaps in medical research and communication gaps. We observed three things:

1. Most biotech or biomedical entrepreneurs are not medical professionals, but they must
communicate medical, biotech, and/or biomedical information!

2. Scientists usually do not have time to spend several weeks writing a research paper for publication; they enjoy doing science, not writing!

3. Most medical professionals, institutions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) need to communicate with non-medical staff, patients, and/or the general public, requiring transcription of information for laypeople to understand.

Hence, we founded Pathmed-Global to provide services including research consulting, manuscript copyediting, and proofreading, and provide professional guidance wherever possible including in matters involving
- Proposal drafting and writing
- Discovery research and regulatory requirements
- Study settings and clinical trial planning
- Grant applications

Work Terms

We charge per hour of work for all servicses.

As an example, because the needs for each article vary, we prefer to charge per hour of work rather than by word count. Some papers take me fewer hours to polish, while others may take longer due to proofreading, scientific editing, journal guideline alignment, and so on. As a result, I charge $ 39 per hour, and a typical 3000-word piece takes me about 4 hours to complete, which is an average of $ 52 per 1000 words.
