Allow me to tell you my story:
My work experience has exposed me to a variety of industries and personalities. This has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience that I can use in content development. My management degree, equips me with the tools I need to effectively research, communicate and write clearly on a wide range of topics.
I was recently employed at one of the largest food manufacturing company in the Caribbean, as a Brand Executive. I was responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for three (3) major brands. This involved preparing and managing the advertising content for the various platforms, brand plans, and presentations under the brand.
Previously I held a position at the FIFA Development Office, this afforded me the opportunity to work with individuals and teams of varying backgrounds and cultures. In my role, I assisted with ensuring the planning, development, and implementation of programs and courses geared to improve the development of football within our region. I was integrally involved in the logistics, planning, preparation, and review of content for the execution of courses and workshops regionally.
Prior to FIFA, my career path began at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, known for its excellent customer service and its motto “We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen.” It was here, that my philosophy of exceeding my clients and co-workers expectations became a personal priority.
Later, my 5+ years of experience in advertising and marketing helped to mould me into a dynamic and creative thinker. My roles in this field were multi-faceted ranging from the creative side of the business to the management and administration side. In addition to brainstorming with the creative team to conceptualize ideas on creative ways to meet the media needs of our clients, I was also a junior copywriter and assisted in the final development and review of advertisements and scripts.
Work Terms
I am available for work Mondays - Fridays for 3 - 6 hours daily. My work terms are negotiable depending on the requirements and urgency of each project.
