Successfully Delivering Quality, Value and Sustainability
1964 found me on a ferry between England and France with just $7 to my name. Five years later with a myriad of experiences under my belt (Deck Hand on barely seaworthy tramp steamers, cocktail barman in Tokyo, wood carver in Bali, selling my blood in Kuwait, lumberjack in Alaska and numerous more besides) and you'd find me propping up the bar of the Hong Kong Hilton, portable typewrite and jack Daniels in hand scripting episodes of a radio thriller.
Unsurprising then that on returning to Britain I 'fell into' journalism initially reporting on births, deaths and marriages and the occasional agricultural fayre on a small circulation weekly newspaper in rural Lincolnshire over five years progressing as a reporter, features writer and sub editor via regional daily to mass circulation UK national newspapers (The Guardian, Daily Telegraph) and eventually as industrial correspondent on Liverpool's start-up Radio City.
Fast forwards and my early 30's found me covering wars and conflicts initially in the Middle East and later around the globe.
Being held hostage during the Iranian Revolution was an experience too far and on returning to the UK I embarked on a second career in public relations subsequently establishing my own Advertising, PR and Marketing agencies subsequently sold to what has since become the World's largest multi media empire.
After three years as a mature student gaining degrees in Social Policy and Psychotherapy I found a new use for my skills working in the charities sector first employed and subsequently as a freelance specialist fundraising, organisational restructuring, training, social enterprise development, high donor recruitment and events organising consultant.
Increasingly concerned over human impacts on the natural environment underlies my new found interest in reversing the decline in honey bee populations leading me to found Kelvin Valley Honey, a social enterprise enabling low income individuals to become beekeepers for free.

Terms of payment - one off and short term services 30days after delivery - Fundraising services - payment by results only via a pre-agreed sliding scale percentage of amounts raised within 30days of funds being secured.
