Filmmaker...Storyteller...Gentleman...

Paul Justin Encinas is from West Covina, CA. The only son of two wonderful, hard working Filipino immigrants, Paul was always the ‘New Kid’ as his parents moved from suburb to suburb, chasing stability. During his family’s searched for normalcy, Paul found refuge in the films of John Cassavetes, Jean-Luc Godard, and Woody Allen. Inspired to find his own cinematic voice, Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in Radio-Television-Film-Theatre from San Jose State University. During this time, Paul received the Harold Crane Award for Excellence in Screenwriting.

After College, Paul worked in many facets of film production all over the country, producing and directing short films and commercials for Redbull, Nike, Capcom, and Blizzard Entertainment among others. Aside from working as a freelance video and film producer, Paul's personal film making endeavors has been exhibited in Film Festivals all across the country. In 2007, Paul wrote and directed his first feature film, Glory Boy Days that premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival that following year.

Currently, Paul works as a Video Producer at Future Publishing and still dabbles in many creative endeavors, which include painting, animation and writing. Paul is 36 years old and lives with his very beautiful fianceé in the Brooklyn, NY.
