3 years at Cal Poly as an Assistant Professor
5 years as production manager, COO and General Manager of a farm that had 1.5 million egg layers
5 years as Director of Management Consulting to 50 farms which owned over 50 million egg layers
9 years as Director of Sales and Marketing where I traveled in Latin America
In total I have been to 82 countries
Worked in over 40 evaluating poultry farms, identifying opportunities for the poultry industry at the country level, advising, giving seminars, writing business plans, talking to embassy people, attending international industry show,
Lived in 7 countries including Russia, Indonesia, Chile, Uzbekistan, Krygzstan
I have had 9 businesses including egg production in California and broiler production in the country of Uzbekistan
I wrote a book for distribution in the Middle East
I am goal oriented
At 17 years of age I listed about 18 goals.
All were met by the age of 30.
I love accomplishment
Scouting has been a passion.
I am an Eagle Scout. My brother and son are also,
I was a Scout leader for over 15 years – Cub Master, Committee chair, treasurer,
Family - 5 sons who live in 3 countries

Flexible priorities:
I can be working on a gig but when my wife calls me for dinner, I go to dinner.
When the dog asks to go for a walk, we go for a walk.
When my kids got home from school and wanted to tell me of an exciting thing that happened, I stopped working and l , I stopped working and listened.
When the deer are outside my office window asking for corn, I go out into the fresh air and feed them
